Re: 1976 tri-hull project

So been a little while folks, all good news. Having my prop rebuilt as the one that has been on there is the original, and it is getting worn down paper thin, Monday that will be done. Also installed eye bolts on transom area, added a couple more l brackets to keep the top real secure to the floor, it was on there alright just moved a little and I wanted no movement at all, so now that is tight.

Also got my bimini top ordered "finally"

And I got this shuttlecraft (lil open bow boat thing you park a seadoo inside).

Picked up the little red one with the red bimini top all the way on left of pic I got it for $300, Ill get more pics of it later, who knows what I can do with this little toy.

Went back out, did more drinking than fishing, but did catch one catfish, pulled into a quiet little cove where I ran into this character who stated he had been living at this cove for a few months now, lol he also mentioned that since it was starting to get busier he will soon move. He pleaded with me not to release the catfish that he would surely eat it, so being me I obliged and gave him the catty. He then proceeded to ask if we had any alcohol (after looking @ his makeshift camp and all the empty cans, I promptly stated this is an alcohol free vesel), a little white lie*, but for the greater good in my opinion. Oh and he yelled "East Side" when we first approached his cove. Hilarious :D:D:D and that aside the boat ran great which is always a plus, now its time to break out the towables and really get into the swing of things around here.

Til' the next time folks ~~~ ~~~

The boat is running very well.

The new bimini top is installed and looks great ( provides great shade )

We went back out for a mini vacation the wifey and I spent seven days at Lake Mead in our favorite cove.

We had a great time and I even cauhgt a couple stripers.

I think we are going to go to Lake Mojave on are next trip.

In the meantime I will slip out when I can for day fishing trips.

Over 700 pictures inside my p-bucket now, go take a peek.

Also installed a second 12v plug on reserve battery side ( 1 for each side )

Oh and don't forget ~~~~~

Re: 1976 tri-hull project

Hey folks, we went back out Friday night from about 8:00 pm to about 3:00 AM, best time for striper fishing. We fished up through the Narrows and towards Overton Arm and near Temple Bar. ( North side Lake Mead )

We caught eleven stripers and two catfish ranging in all diffferent sizes. We had a great time caught quite a bit of fish and tons and tons of fun.

When we go night fishing we use GPS to navigate, as Lake Mead has new rocks and islands that appear almost daily due to such a great loss in water, so to play it safe we usually map our course durring the day light hours, then when we come back later that night we follow our tracks in order to be safe and avoid hazards, comes in realy handy, and espeacially at night.

We took quite a few new pictures mostly of us and fish, but there are a few of the boat as-well, also I took my first crash course lesson in videos and I made a couple of those too.

For anyone viewing this video " I do not recommend trying this if you have never done so before, as it is a bit dangerous- and ALWAYS, ALWAYS have a designated driver as we had on this trip" lol -- my disclaimer

Ya' know for liability reasons and all :D

Well I got 1 video to work, but it is the worst of the best lol

And finally a 2nd video for your viewing pleasure.

~~~ ENJOY ~~~
