1976 tri-hull resto

This boat is a 1976 Seaswirl tri-hull... have been working on a full refurbish.... had ton of crazing, scratches, ect...still a work in progress,,, here is a few pics... i will try to post some pics,,,

Trip to palisades, was a fun and sad trip... knee boarded, and skiing was fun, while fishing lost upper unit bearing boating came to an abrubt halt(literally) had to float back to camp took 3 hours.

Good looking boat. I love the colour. She looks great in the water too. To bad about your outdrive though. Good luck with it.

With that camper sitting in the background I thought it had a cabin on it at first glance.

Thanks guys, got the upper unit replaced have had a good time on it this summer....

Thanks IBOATS.....Couldn't have done it all without the great people here, and the inspiration from OOPs, and others that have enjoyed fixin up old heaps of crap into something GREAT!

not recomended repair by the boating community, however worked for me... been almost 3 years since finished and looks just as good as first day i painted it....

I have tons more pics as soon as i can figure out how to get them posted correctly...

Finally got my slideshow done on my redneck resto----

two years in the making... took me at least four months to finish project....

my avitar pic is the first big trip it went on... only o float back to camp due to upper gear unit crapping out a bearing...

fixed that, had great fun last summer, this summer engine developed a knock,,, two months of dignosis---rod knock :(

back in the garage it goes for more surgery....and some finishing chrome trim around the inside edges....add new stereo, add fishing pole holders,​

THANKS! its just another day for watts o' fun.....LOL in my world of old used stuff if i havn't fixed it then i dont own it...i'm just that way.... buy something cheap and rebuild to new conditon....ends up being cheaper than new, and more reliable...(eventually)
