i have a 115 johnson that will not shift out of forward i have droped the lower unit and i can push the shift rod up and down but it says in forward no nuturl or reverse this is a hydrolic shift trype does anyone know what to do to fix it?
Make sure that the gearcase is full of oil. There is no adjustment on the shift rod itself, but the barrel swivel at the top should be no more than two revolutions out from gently seated.
