1977 140 Johnson 12 Amp Regulator

I need some help finding the 12 amp regulator that bolts to the head on a 1977 140 johnson .I looked all weekend on the net ,everyone has rectifiers,but no one seems to have this regulator.I found I believe the original part number in the BRP Catalog which is 0581741 ,but every where I go this comes back as nothing.
Would anyone know an aftermarket part # for this ?
I saw this question on an old post but he didn't get an answer.

The regulator, part #581741 is superseded by part #581580. You should be able to locate it by either number from a BRP dealership's parts department.
