I just bought a 1977 15 ft. deck boat with an inboard OMC 4 cylinder gm motor and a omc outdrive. It does have an idling issue (won't) runs great at all speeds, but when shifted in to neutral it dies, but I think cleaning the carb will fix that. The motor was rebuilt 2 years ago, boat only has 360 hours on the meter, has new floor stringers for the motor mounts, boat needs some TLC but not much, still has the shade canopy but needs a replacement canopy, I was just wondering what it is worth?

A picture would help. But a small boat with an obsolete powerplant isn't going to be worth much.

I will get a pic of the boat when I get it home next week, my plans for it are pulling a tube for my kids and a little fishing on the area lakes, I only gave 650 for it.

It worth exactly what you paid for it!
Everything is only worth what the next person is willing to pay.
If you want us to tell you that you got a good deal, what does that matter as long as you are happy with what you paid.

Well as this is the 2nd boat I have owned, ( the first one got parted out, took too much to fix it) if it does what I want it to do I will be happy with it. I was just wondering what it was worth.

Any boat that runs and drives is worth at least $650. Good luck with it.
