OK guys, I wasn't getting spark on either cylinder, so i got a new power pack for christmas, but that did not solve the issue... On the troubleshooting guide from CDI Electronics for No Spark on any cylinder the first step says to disconnect the black/yellow stop wire from power pack.. I did this by jumping the other two orange wires but I did not jump the black/yellow wire, is this way to test that? Also I've disconnected all yellow wires from the rectifier and tried, still nothing. I am really confused now guys, help!!

Actually, after putting my spark tester on each cylinder, I AM getting spark on both cylinders but boat will NOT start. It still just cranks, n cranks n cranks... does it sound like a gas issue?

yeah I saw that yesterday! I sure have learned a lot since then but still get stumped sometimes! if anyone has any suggestions let me know. someone said check thetiming but I'm not sure how to do that. something about a flywheel key if I remember right... sound resonable? thanks for the help guys!

If it has an electric choke is it working? My 50 has a red lever for manuals choke.

Try squirting some premix fuel in the carbs throats once and see what happens. What's the compression on it ??
