The propeller does not want to spin when the engine is on and when i turn it by hand, i hear a clicking sound. Tomorrow I'm gonna try to fix it but what do you guys think the problem is?

when you say it does not spin , do you mean that it revs high in the water and barely pushes the boat, or do you mean it doesnt move at all , as in seized up?? Hopefully all you have is a spun hub. To test, draw a line across the hub and prop, run it in water, then check. If the lines are now unlined, you have spun your hub.

I believe it's seized up...when we took it out in the water, the only thing that was pushing the boat was the exhaust, the prop was not spinning at all. But i dont think it's actually seized up cause i was able to spin it by hand

Perhaps the shift cable is unhooked or part of the linkage disconnected.

well I'm trying to remove the lower unit, but it seems to be stuck and im afraid that ill bend the exhaust housing if i try to force it out. I removed the trim tab, the on big bolt beside the trim tab, and the four bolts holding the lower unit to the exhaust housing. Did i miss something?

Look up in the opening where the trim tab was. There may be a bolt up in there that is normally covered with the trim tab.

The lower unit is removed and except for a few damaged gaskets it seems fine. Any ideas on my original problem?
