1977 70hp Mercury stator readings

I have been trying to test the stator on my 3-cyl. Mercury. I have found some of the info I need by searching, but I have an "extra" reading that no one seems to mention and may be the source of my problem.
Here are my results on my four-wire stator:
Red to Blue: 5.66k
Red to ground: 156 ohm
Blue to ground: 5.82k
I've never seen mention of a reading between the blue wire and ground. Should there be any continuity, and if so, what would the correct reading be?

Blue to ground should be 5800 - 7000 Ohms. If you want the trigger readings they are white/black to brown = 800 - 1400 Ohms. white and purple = 800 - 1400 Ohms. Ignition coil promary 0.2 - 1.0 Ohm and secondary = 800 - 100 Ohms.

Thanks! I'm getting 1.25k to 1.32k on the trigger, within limits. On the coils, I've got 1 ohm across the screw terminals (green and black wires). Is the secondary measured from the spark plug wire socket to the terminal where the black wire is connected?
