I have a 85EL77S that has original pump. Diaphram went bad and I can't find a replacement that fits. My pump is a 0318374-D4. Ordered replacement from Marineengines.com and #1 It is bigger than mine and #2 bolt holes dont line up. Everywhere I have looked it's the same. My pump uses 3 bolts to mount while my Seloc book says it only uses 2. I could use assitance locating a pump or any info anyone has. Bought the motor for 800, never been in saltwater till i bought it. Drove 6hrs one way inland to get it plus it has probably less than 40 hrs on it. It's a gem even still looks brand new, the skeg even had paint left on it lol. Bump the key and she's ready.

Sierra 18-7353 should replace it. Or 18-7820 repair kit.

My top bolt hole is used as a mounting point also aka 3 screws. OMC. My Seloc book says 2 but it is not what came on my motor. I ordered the #0438559 from Marine engines.com and they are not what i have the entire pump is bigger than mine. But everyone says its correct. I have pictures to post but i have to get them off my phone.

2 bolts to mount it or 3 bolts.----Makes no difference in the way the pump works.----It is all the same.

I'm worried about braking the arm it mounts to off the carb silencer 3 = good mount 2 is gonna flex and eventually break.

Im thinking about just making an adapter plate so i can run that part # pump and use three bolts since i cant find what i have which is very strange. Never run into this b4. Have worked on 60s and 70s models and this never happened b4.

I saw a question about my part number pump but it was a d5 instead of a d4 which is what i have. Pretty sure it was on here but i couldn't search for it for some reason so im looking through threads in here trying to find it. Prob am over thinking but i like to know the who what when where and how.
