I just picked up a 1977 American with a Ford 302, OMC 190. I will try to get some pictures up soon. Really enjoyed seeing what you are doing with yours, Keep us posted!

Not sure if you are still working on this project. The Jacuzzi YJ is not really a performance pump. It is only good for ~400 HP and 60 MPH. Any more than that and it starts to cavitate. They are a great pump if used for their intended purpose. They work well for getting heavier boats up on plane quickly. Both of my SleekCrafts have YJs. I subscribed to your thread. Feel free to ask any questions you have about the YJ. I have some experience with them. Looks like an interesting project. Not many jet guys on this forum.

I'm not really sure what direction I'm going with this build yet. It is on the back burner at the moment. It has quite a bit of damage on the bottom so I'm contemplating just scrapping it.
