I have a 77' Evinrude that died on me this weekend. I just put a new battery in it (with more cranking amps) and it ran fine for most of the day. Then went to start the motor, and nothing. Turned the key, and got no response from the starter, checked wiring, fuses, etc. and everything looked good. Went to put the positive on the battery and was getting shocked while screwing on the nut. Any ideas?
