I need to replace a bad coil on my motor and am not sure which kind to order. I see that there are 2 options available. There is the OEM coil that is obviously identical to the ones I have on my motor.

And this coil is also listed for my 1977....

The Sierra coil looks nothing like my OEM coil, but states it comes with a universal mounting bracket.
Are both coils equal in quality and reliability?
Am I likely to be able to find a "universal coil" locally...and if so, what store would carry them? NAPA? I don't have any marine dealers near me, so that's not an option.
