I am restoring a 1977 Invader Aquarius and am looking for any good pictures of the Invader logo and the Aquarius logo. I have a guy that can re-create them in vinyl, but I need something clear to use.
The only thing on the boat is the faint outline of where the previous logos were.
I guess the last resort would be to try and trace them off the boat, since I am sure logos are no longer available.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On a side note, any pictures of a factory setup of this boat would be helpful as well to see what the seats looked like over the battery and fuel compartments.

Re: 1977 Invader Aquarius logo

pics of the logos would be FANTASTIC. All I can find is the Invader logo above with the arrow through it, but the one I need has the large "I" at the end.
I would also appreciate ANY photos you have of the boat itself. This one has been patched and modified so much, I cannot tell how the back seating was or the bow seating.
I think it came originally with back to back seating, but I am ok with scrapping those for buckets.
Trust me, any info is greatly appreciated. I have a lot of work ahead!

Very close. Thanks for the pic by the way. I even have the same burgundy vinyl gunwale pattern. Nice to see the back seats. I have a couple of single seats with bases that I am going to cut and modify for the back seats. I even have the original steering wheel. Looks like yours have updated chrome vents in back. I will be replacing my black plastic ones. Also, I am repairing the bucket seats in mine in place of the original back/back style.

Here is a pic of mine before its current state of demolition:

Nice! Thought I had the only one still around LOL! I will get more detailed pics to you later this week, boat is at cottage now. I will post the logo pics tonight. Mine was pretty original (I think) and will need to do the deck and other restore, probably this fall. Mine has a Merc 1500 on it, had to replace the powerhead last season. Let me know what you find under the decking. I am trying to make a cockpit cover for it. Did yours have one by chance? I see the boat side snaps (same as mine). I have the bow cover buts its pretty out of shape.

Mine still has some original parts, but the bow seats were pulled and a platform was glassed in for fishing I think. I have a TON of snaps along the cap rails, but no covers. Mine has a 1978 Evinrude 150 V6 outboard hanging. Got it to run pretty smooth.

by the way, expect a LOT of rot underneat, especially if it was kept open to the elements. Just pulled my deck and found all stringers and transom shot. Looks like there may have been an original ski locker well glassed in below, but I am ripping it out because the wood underneath is bad. Plus, after pulling about 450 lbs of saturated foam, it looks like the bow never could drain.

Currently grinding out old stringers and cleaning up the transom. Not sure of the original transom design, but this was obviously a redo before and was not up to snuff. Surprised the tow hooks didn't pull through the hull. After I glass in the stringers and transom, I am going to take it to the local spray insulation guys and have them spray closed cell foam in the bottom. For such a small project, it makes more sense than ordering product, mixing, pouring, praying, etc. They can do it all in 30 minutes and be done with it, and no doubt a much better job than I can do.

I have another thread about the restoration where I will be posting progress as soon as I can get time to upload the photos. What a mess! But, the price was right.

There is a guy who does my vinyl decals for my work van, etc. and can try and replicate the decals with a clean photo. I currently took sketch paper and did a charcoal rubbing of the old decals(what was left of them) and got a decent view of the size, etc.
