Your local Auto Zone or Napa may have them depending on your locale.

Thanks.

Does any one knows what color is the wire for the RPM, this boat came with the gauges but all the cable has been cut, I gat so far the lights, trim and fuel Gauge working, but I still have about 7 cables left and I can find the one for the rpm. I do have the repair manual but I can find it there either. Any help I will really appreciated.
Thank you

Not sure on your engine but on later model John/Rude the gray wire is for the tach.

Re: 1977 Johnson 200hp RPM Help????

I have a 1977 Johnson 175. My tach wire is gray and comes out of the control box. I would imagine that it would be the gray one coming from the harness alsoand just runs through the control box, but I am not really sure. I am installing new throttle cables tomorrow and I can look when my control box is apart and let you know where it comes from. Mine uses the same plugs and I got mine at autozone also.
