UL77V or QL16V surface gap Champion sparkplugs is what is recomended from my source.

Your local Auto Zone or Napa may have them depending on your locale.

Thanks.<br /><br />Does any one knows what color is the wire for the RPM, this boat came with the gauges but all the cable has been cut, I gat so far the lights, trim and fuel Gauge working, but I still have about 7 cables left and I can find the one for the rpm. I do have the repair manual but I can find it there either. Any help I will really appreciated. <br />Thank you

Not sure on your engine but on later model John/Rude the gray wire is for the tach.

I have a 1977 Johnson 175. My tach wire is gray and comes out of the control box. I would imagine that it would be the gray one coming from the harness alsoand just runs through the control box, but I am not really sure. I am installing new throttle cables tomorrow and I can look when my control box is apart and let you know where it comes from. Mine uses the same plugs and I got mine at autozone also.
