I got a new to me 4 hp johnson. The high speed knob is stuck and won't budge. The carb need a rebuild and I don't want to break the knob removing it. Any ideas how to get the knob off with out it breaking?
It should just pull off. Worst case, you might have to gently pry it off with a pair of screwdrivers. Of course that risks breaking it. Part number is 312767, if you do.
