I bought this boat off of jeff and found this forum (and his posts) while searching for answers. It turns out that there was a bad vacuum line. I thought it was electrical tape when I first saw it. We had the boat running great and then it decided that it would play the prime-run-die-prime-run-die game. Upon closer inspection there was a large crack in the fuel pump housing as well.
To make a long story short, 1 inline electric pump and 10" of vacuum line later she runs like a champ!
