1977 MURCURY 115..WHERE TO START..Help

I Have a 1977 Murc 115.. Dont no if it runs. The lower is droped.. It looks great for a 1977.. Won't to do a full tune up...Where do i start.... I need to fish....HELP...PLEASE

Step one; buy a manual. Step two; check compression following the manuals advise on what you are looking for. Three, read follow and understand the manual.

Jeff, after you check compression, by jumpering the starter, inspect the wiring. The wiring if it has not been replaced is usually shot.

Plan to rebuild waterpump and carbs, before you run it, or it may not last the trip. Those motors like clean fuel, clean carbs, a good waterpump (for cooling) and nice hot spark.
