Thanks for the link, it works great. The hose fitting on the left side of the outdrive seemed to work great for flushing and testing the motor and it looked original.

Yes, I am aware of the flush adaptor and have one myself. I just did not know that they could be used on the port side as opposed to the starboard side.

My electric stringer just happens to have one on the port side as well.

I have one of my mechanical stringers completely apart right now for seal replacement and repair. I see that both trunnions flow water from the upper out drive to the intermediate gear box.

I assume they do that because just one hole would not allow enough water to the engines.
