Goth the new BLUE bootstripes on Saturday. Glad I did it, because it looks much better than the red bootstripes! And, for those that are interested, I installed two SeaBlaze 3 underwater blue LED lights on the transom too :joyous:

Got some new carpet today!!!! It was in desperate need of replacement. Heres a couple before pics, the old carpet ripped out and being used as a template, and the final product. I glued all the edges down and then hammer-stapled the edges for additional bonding strength.

Not only is the high-quality work fun to watch, but you're moving very quickly.

Now that's funny!

But I know what you mean about no time to enjoy the boat. I've been so busy over the last couple of months rehab-ing the trailer, installing a second battery and switch, rewiring, etc., that it seems that it's more of a job than a toy. But I enjoy the tinkering, so it's just semantics.

Yeah, they're all projects. I'm just trying to get everything BELOW THE WATERLINE and some of the bigger more labor intensive projects done here at the shop before I float 'er this friday :) You gotta save a couple of projects for the water....otherwise you'd get to be bored out of your mind after awhile.

Puttin in a couple Perko scupper valves to replace the old cracked ones. Using 3M 5200 FAST CURE. This stuff is the best adhesive I've ever used....and I've used a LOT of different adhesives!!!

It's on a trailer. My experience and heart is in the size of boat you have, but with younger kids, that has currently been traded in for a ski boat. I hope to trade back up at some point. I bought it as a project and have redone the stringers, floor, interior, exterior, trailer, etc. So it's in and out of the water, but it's a constant project. Again, I love it.

Got the boat loaded up this weekend with the hydraulic trailer and parked her at the marina. It rode VERY smoothly and I was very happy with the performance!
