I have a 1977 silverton with twin 318's . Does anyone know what carbs came on these motors? I cant find a manufacturer's stamp on it anywhere.
I'm pretty sure that the float needs to be replaced .

Welcome to iboats.
Let me get this to the Mercruiser, Volvo and OMC I/O or Inboard Engine Problems where you will get your answers.

I remember that, and one engine is counter-clockwise, which makes it difficult to adjust the valves?

Why do you say that, dosent matter what way it turns, valves still open and close on intake and exaust.
