I bought a 1986 stratos nashville fish n ski for 350 replaced the floor and seats. The engine had 120 psi in all 4 cylenders yesterday started acting a little rough this is the first time any problemes in a few months worh of taking it out almost everyday. finally stalled and would not start, got it home compression on left side 120 on right side top one is 60 bottom 30. pulled the head bottom piston has scracheds on it as does the head. i guess from the rings busting pretty deep . is this worth having the piston and head replaced and rings on that side. and how much would a shop cost to do it you think.
Thanks

You need to do a total rebuild on that motor because the other pistons are going to break rings to. If you can do it yourself the rebuild would be reasonable if a shop does it you are better off finding a newer motor.

More than you are going to want to spend. Is it worth it? Financially speaking, probably not. There are many used 115s for sale, that might be a lest costly route. But if you really like the engine, and a rebuild is done properly, you can get many mores years out of it.

Scrap it (or even better, part it out) and find a good running used one.
