No you'll have to cut it to fit - they make them deliverately too long so that "one size fits all". Some people just coil up the extra length so as to re-use it if they change boats.<br /><br />-W

Thanks Clams. Please let me know the price difference between yours and one that is the proper length from Mercury. I hate the thought of cutting my new harness.....but for the right price I will endure most anything!<br /><br />I don't want to clog up this message board with my purchase questions. They all come 22' long. On one end is the famous plug where it plugs into the motor (motor's internal harness $99 - sold separately). The other end just terminates in plain cut wire any way. The end user needs to attach ring connectors, or spade connectors, or solder it into the controller or *whatever* for many different applications. Now that they are so old.. the aftermaket just makes a 1 harness fits all product. Even the genuine Mercury ones are "cut to fit" now.
