Hello All,

I recently picked up a 1978 15hp rude as a backup motor. Carb was nasty upon tear down but cleaned up nice, the problem is there are a few pinholes in the aft section of the float bowl. I used JB Weld for now, but I would like it to be right. Does anyone know where I can order one of these?? I checked a few sites but could only find rebuild kits, not bowls. Thanks in advance.

That float bowl is part number 0319010, and it's available. Try your local BRP dealer or order from an online supplier like ishopmarine.com. About $25.

Did you manage to get the high speed orfice out of the float bowl? If not, better order one of those too.

I didn't see anything in there, just bowl and gasket. I did on my IPB but in the notes it says sailboat models only. Is this what you are asking about?

According to the parts explosion, the orifice plug on that model screws into the body of the carb. The bowl doesn't have even a drain plug.

CA,

Good site, I got it on order, I don't have a local BRP dealer so it's all online. Thanks
