Hello,

I am looking to purchase a 28 foot flybridge boat with twin Chrysler 360 engines which I am assuming are the original engines. The boat is in excellent shape and the price is right. Does anybody have any experience with these engines? Is there any reason to avoid them? Buyer says they were rebuilt 3 years ago. Also, I know it all depends on the specific boat, but any rough estimate on GPH fuel consumption? I would appreciate any comments from people who have worked on, owned, or have any knoweldge of these engines.

Thank you!

Ayuh,... Chrylser has been Out of the marine business for What,..?? 40 Years or so...

I've got a houseboat with twin 318s,...
I ain't spending a dime on 'em,...When they need work, I'll be swappin' in Chevys...
A new set of manifolds,+ risers would be More than the boat is worth...
