I'm trying to find points gap for the Volvo Penta V8 255B gm 305 or 350 not sure has Chrysler distributor installing cap rotor and points need gap setting had no spark hopefully this helps thanks for any information

Thank you I set to. .018 just fired it up after sitting couple years thanks again for your help just going to hook up the hose to run and check it cheers muffs go at bottom behind prop is the intake I take it.

Yes, muffs go over the outdrive intake holes

There is also a drain hole at the very bottom of the drive, try to plug it when using the muffs to run the engine. This way there will be an ample amount of water to the pump.
