I purchase a 17' Wellcraft w/ 1978 115hp Evenrude outboard two weeks ago. When purchased, motor started and ran great. Had the bottom of boat repainted and the last couple days have been trying to start it with no success. Purchased new batteries and spark plugs; still no success. Must admit - Iflooded the engine on first start. Anybody have any suggestions? I am a first time boater.
