Ok, so i got the leak under control, i looked at the engine online and i am missing a gasket, whew,, last owner must of not installed it because it is also missing a screw,,, as far as it being a crapy engine, i disagree, this little engine has been working its butt off on the water, and with just a few more adjustments on it, it will run and run and run and run, so i'll stick to my Johnson, no offense to you but for a 1978 this engine is pretty strong, just old, like me lol.
