Replacement wire harnesses are available , but are hard to find and expensive.

Check the condition of the stator, and distributer wires as well. Those are the most difficult to remedy.

Spark plug wires are readily available.

I don't believe iboats sells any of the old wire harnesses.

For example: CDI makes internal harnesses. Yours would be CDI p/n 414-2770 which is original Merc p/n 84-69236

What components have rotten wires?

Sounds like you need a new wiring harness for your powerhead end....If they arent TOO bad, you might be able to tape them up, but in the long run, rewire with a new harness....the electricals on this beast are quite pricey and all it takes is the touch of a bare wire to ground to clean out your bank account...Dont ask me how I know this:D
