1978 mercury 70hp 3 cylinder 2 stroke outboard

I recently purchased a new aftermarket jetunit stator, as the wires on my old stator were all corroded and brittle, the part # on the old one is 398-5704A4 and the new one does replace the old one.
However the new stator has extra ground wires, which are red/white and blue/white and are meant to go to engine ground. When I removed my old stator I didnt remember where the engine ground wires were connected to. Can anyone please help me out?
