1978 Mercury 85hp with early 80's power trim setup

Hey guys, this is my first boat and I am unfamiliar with how the power trim bolts up. First of all I have a 1978 Mercury 85hp and I am looking at buying a power trim unit off of an early 80's Mercury 75hp. Will this hook up with no issues? Second of all, does anybody have a diagram on how to hook up this unit if I decide to buy it ? My 85 did not come with power trim and I would definitely need the on the fly adjustments because my motor seems abit long for my 15ft trihull. Thanks guys
