Great thread. I need some help with the same issue...

I noticed your posts about replacing the tilt motor on your omc motor. I have a 120hp omc and I am trying to replace the tilt motor without removing the stern drive. I see you were able to do this.

My main question is where do I access the bolts to remove the tilt motor? Everything is still hooked up including the rubber boot. I was hoping I didn't have to remove the boot to get to them.

Where are those bolts?
