I bought my boat about a month ago and after a few runs on the lake noticed the floor was getting really weak in the front so I pulled up the carpet and noticed a really bad fiberglass patch job. I pulled it up and there is no wood left under it. I pulled the floor up and checked the stringers and they are now hollow there is no wood left to use as a template. So what would be everyones thoughts on me filling the void where the wood was with Seacast?

If you use seacast make sure that all wood is removed . Completely . Good stuff but very expensive and shipping makes it even worse . I think there may be a different mix for the stringers . NidaBond is another pourable brand if you want to go that way and a bit cheaper .
Wood would be prolly cheaper to use as I'm sure everyone here will tell ya .
Good luck and keep us posted !

If I were to use wood how would I make a template since there is no wood left in the stringer?

Cardboard

1/4" rigid sheet foam

Red rosen paper

Joggle stick

You could also use WOG's stringer jig system to setup an oversized stringer plank & trace the hull contour on to it:

If the deck came up with the stringers still down and in place you could make the templates now with the rosin paper . At least to get the basic shape then you can adjust the height later ..

Had a busy day today got the deck off and about half the foam out.

Got my bad cushion replaced. It was the closest matching fabric I could find. It won't let me upload the photo but I'll get on later.

Looks like my restore is on hold for awhile :blue:. I'll start posting again when I get it going again.

I have the exact same boat! Welcome to the tri-hull club! I ran into similar issues with mine after I got it. Here is what I have done so far on mine. It has been a lot of work but im nearing the end and know i will have a boat that will last me till retirement. I have been keeping all my reciepts since the begining so after I place my last order to us composites and a few other places for new seats and all the odds and ends i will post a total cost of the rebuild. It looks like a lot of work, which it is but if you take it one step at a time and stay organized it goes faster than you'd think. I started in mid to end of march this year and hope to be on the water by the end of the month. By the way there are tons of knowledgeable memebers here that can answer pretty much any questions you may have as you go. PS they love pictures. (they really are worth more than a 1000 words of describing a problem) Good Luck!
