I disconnected my positive battery cable while engine was running and then reconnected it and my overheat alarm will now not stop. Suspect I have goofed up the sensor and need help locating it and also a general idea of what is involved to replace it / or them...I understand there are 2 sensors. Is it possible that the speaker for the alarm is somehow hung up and may not be a sensor?? Really appreciate any help with this... Thank You!

If it has the new style piezo horn, you fried the horn. And probably your rectifier. If the horn whistled at you every time you turned the key on, it's a piezo horn. You need to check the rectifier for the charging system also.
