Okay here is the latest with this engine. I tok the boat out yesterday and it started out for the first minute or so to do great then it started to die down. I could idle it and hit the throttle again and it would take off then as it reached max rpm it would die down again. It did this the entire time that I was out on the lake, I didnt have anyone else with me so I couldnt chech anything out. Me and my brother took it out today to check it with a timing lighht at wot to see if I was dropping a cylinder. It started out the same as yestarday but after about 10 minutes it started to run really bad at any speed that was barley above idle. While checking with the timing light I did not notice any cylinders that were dropping. I also checked the wot timing mark and although I could not get it to max rpm it was showing 28 deg. I did take off the air box cover and all of the barrels seemed to have plenty of fuel going through them I also tried to squeeze the bulb with no luck. I took out the plugs and they did seem to be just a little wet but that maybe because it was at full throttle with the lever but the motor was just barely moving the boat (it wouldnt even get it on plane). I dont know what else to check or to try. I did retest the compression and they were still running around 140. I need help I have come to a point that I am completly clueless as to what could be the problem........Please help me
