Don't use a puller that acts on the outside of the flywheel, it will damage it!.
What you need is a 3 bolt harmonic puller, there are 3 tapped holes on the top of the flywheel into which you screw the puller bolts.
In an emergency you can remove the flywheel by replacing the flywheel retaining nut untill it is just proud of the end of the crankshaft (to protect the threads), use a suitable leaver to apply upward pressure on the outside edge of the flywheel, then while appling the pressure give the end of the crank a sharp rap with a hammer, you may have to do this a few times before the flywheel comes off its tapper if so rotate the flywheel to a different position after each attempt.
I would however strongly recomend that you use a harmonic puller.
