im looking into buying a 1979 evinrude 70hp but i know nothing about the motors. was wondering if anyone could tell me what one should expect to pay for one and any general info about them i.e. how they run if its worth purchasing and so on
In my experience, with normal maintenance, they are pretty bullet proof. The value will fluctuate depending on the part of the country you are in and the local demand.
