I did some searches and didn't see any other owners on here. I bought one this fall for cheap. The motor runs very nice and the hull and floor is solid. I will be replacing the carpet and seats this spring (before iceout). The previous owner converted it to fresh water cooling and I was wondering if anyone had pictures of the heat exchanger installation. Besides the engine running at a more optimal temperature, is there any other benefit converting it back to the closed cooling system? It has the Mercruiser 470 with the 170hp Mercruiser engine.

I have the manual on CD but the scans of the photos are nearly useless.

Also, is there a source for the original style bimini that attaches to the windshield and has the side and back curtains?

The closed coolin for the 470 is not speciffic Glastron, you might wanna start a topic in the Mercruiser, OMC, Volvo & other I/O & Inboard Engines & Outdrives section at iboats about that.
About the Glastron.... great boats, I own a 78 Glastron Carlson but no 177, have a look at Classicglastron dot com.
