Woyben The project is looking good. Just think everytime you hit a hard wave or walk across that floor, you can feel at ease knowing what is below you.
I have an old bass boat I have redone and I feel better now taking it out.
Good luck and keep posting.

Wyo, you are one hardcore p1mp daddy. You rollin' the Escalade with the 22 inch bling bling wheels and the gold tooth with the diamond in the middle? I don't even want to know how you get these girls to stand there holding manuals. If you could get them to help glass that boat together, posting plenty of pics of course, that would be a serious acheivement. Anyway, the boat is looking good so far, the structure should be quite stout. Good luck...

Hey you're right! if you stare at the last picture long enough it looks like she is holding a book or something. Didn't notice that the first fifty times i looked! Tell her to hold the book just a tad lower next time!!!

Re: 1979 IMP Progress Pics

Just got to ask:
What is the large diameter 8"+ pvc for?
Was the boat originally an outboard?
Had a '74- 18' IMP, '74-'80, was a good boat. Seemed to be built tough.

Re: 1979 IMP Progress Pics

The 8" PVC is for the Center Console, to run the wiring, cables, etc. This boat was a inboard, but I came across a 200 Merc outboard cheap so we hacked it up to make it an outboard boat. It has alot more room inside this way. Center console is almost ready to be installed, will post pics later (even has built in tackle Boxes :) )

Wyomingben
