For those of you who have replied to my other posts, thanks. Here is where I stand after replacing a bad timer base. I was getting no spark on the port bank ( 2 cyl)...I replaced the timer base which was what the tech told me was bad. Now, it's getting spark on the bottom port cyl but not the top. I didnt change the stator becuase tech said the currnet one was not bad, and could still last for a while. I do have another stator to replace the old if need be. Could the be a coil issue, or maybe a power pack issue?

You can perform a simple test: That engine has identical dual power packs, each controls the spark to one head. Swap them. If the "no spark" condition moves to the other head, you have a bad power pack. Let us know the results.
