I would have to pass on the 170, way to many issues with them.

Lund's are rock solid boats, and are at a very high demand here in the mid west, never seen a Lund Ski boat, Lund usually sells boats that are designed for fishing, and they have an awesome reputation. I have no idea about your 95 jet boat or it's ability, but any boat is only as good as the owner that cared for it. Any boat from the 70's is a bit old, so go through the boat and inspect everything to discover how well it was cared for. Looks clean, what do the stringers and transom look like on that Lund? $3k seems a bit high for such an old boat but it really depends on the condition and how well it was cared for.

I was thinking for Michigan (especially Hudson area) the price seemed low lol. When I lived up there the average used boat was going for a first born child and a shotgun wedding.
