25 is very very low. Does the engine start? If you can get it started and it's not making any horrible noises, you can try a can of mecury power tune, which may free up a stuck ring. Past that I would guess that you need to rebuild it.

When is the last time you cleaned the carbs on that motor?

Good luck
- Brian

I'll bet it's the third.

Try the power tune... past that it needs to come apart.

-W

Ok Clams, what is it about the third hole? I thought the top 2 were most likely so melt.

Power Tune is Merc stuff ?no? Check with the dlr.

If you don't have a Merc dlr in the area but do have a Johns/Ev dlr, try some OMC Engine Tuner. It's also a strong decarbonizer. Or pick up a can of Seafoam Deep Creep decarbonizing spray at your local auto parts store.

Re: Jimmbo's Ques, #1 and #3 cyl's usually get it but any cyl can fail.

IMHO Lotsa Luck getting a 25-psi cyl back with decarbonizer. My bet is, the rings are probably fried and the motor will need to come apart.

You can remove the upper intake port cover and take a look at the intake side of the piston, also you'll be able to see the cylinder wall on the exhaust side, that should tell you quite a bit.

Good Luck.........ed
