The idle speed adjustment is done on the port side of the engine, there will be a long lever that has the control cable hooked to the bottom end of it on rhe lever there are 2 or 3 adjustment screw (phillips head with a 7/16 locking nut) The bottom screw is the idle speed adjustment in raises the idle speed DO NOT MESS WITH THE OTHER ADJUSTMENT SCREWS. If the mixture needs adjustment there a mixture screws on each carb. Looking back at the engine they are about 2 oclock on the throat of the carbs (in is leaning the mix) if you have never adjusted 2 sroke carbs get help and the mixture must be set with the engine in gear or it will stall when shifted
