The plugs were loose one of the head bolts had also walked all the way out and the rest were not properly torqued.

So I tightened all to proper torque and cleaned all pluggs. Still nothing.

Boat ran like a champ last week.

All gas is brand new as of this morning, and ball is tight.

I also checked compression on all cylenders, all good.

Starter is also brand new, but wires from the battery were really hot after several attemps.

Hot battery cables indicate a poor connection drawing excessive amps, heating the cables and the starter motor. Clean all connections, both ends and the motor block under the ground cable.

There is a minimum cranking speed of 300 RPM. Testing spark wiwth a plug out releives the starter of a little load and enables it to turn just a bit faster. With all plugs in it may just be cranking slow and flooding.

After you have cured the slow cranking, try again. You may have to clean and dry the wet plugs.
