1979 Mercury 50HP mount

I need to replace my mount for the transom.

It is in bad condition and would need the complete kit.

I have searched the web, but am not sure if any mount will be compatable. I wouldnt mind looking for an aftermarket kit thats cheaper than a genuine.

My question, how would i find an adtermarket kit that will fit my engine. Im not sure of the exact model but it says 1979 Merc and its a 50HP outboard, it has 500 painted on the back of the top of the engine. please help

The problem is the where the motor meets the steering shaft, i think it has broken off at the top, please help/

It's difficult to tell from your pics. but it looks like you are missing the pwer trim cylinder on that side if that's the case you might find one on ebay. If not you can remove the brackets and run without it.
