Did you resurface the head? What are your compression numbers.We have does this, still getting water in cylinder. We also remove & replace exhaust bubble plate gaskets & pulled power head & replaced gasket there also. Still water in cylinder???
Head was surface. Compression @ 100psi. On all cylinders. About three spins of engine with starter.![]()
Have done. And checked for any sign of damage. Thanksno , it would let water into the crankcase , pull the head and check for a split bore.
Replaced the gasket there & noticed water milky looking film there but didn't think nothing about it. Going to get seal & gasket & replace again??? ThanksA missing bearing retainer bolt would allow water to get to #4 cylinder.----A bad lower crank seal would allow water to get into the #4 cylinder too !!
