i have 1980 evinrude 15hp and i was wondering if i can add a electric start to it. right now it is pull start but i have it hooked with a steering wheel up front and throttle controls. thanks jeremy
The most expensive part would be the fly wheel. The parts diagram below shows two fly wheels for your motor, one for electric start, the other for rope start.

i met this guy in rehobeth ma and he has the starter and wiring harness for the motor and said he would trade me for my 4 gallon pressurized tank for my evinrude. tell me what you think. i will picking up the parts tommorrow. no cash involved, even steven
