this is my first post hollow every one <br /><br /> is this a good motor i havnt been around boats for years [ I KNOW OUR OLD EVY 85 HAD A BLACK BOX BROVBLEM] this old 115 isnt known for this is it. thanks in advance

Your engine is a 1981, not a 1980. It's a good design with a new style ignition system which came into existence in 1973. However, as with anything mechanical, electrical, electronic, problems can and o exist from time to time.
