Didnt know how else to put that. Heres the story, I just bought this boat and motor from an older guy who said it needed a tune-up. Well before I started pulling the carbs and all and cleaning I decided to charge the battery, fuel her it, and see if she would start. I soon discover the line from tank to engine is junk, leaking at each side of bulb. Well I still managed to squesse it enough to get pressure and after a couple of minutes she fired up. Idled great (especially considering the gas line) problem was even though I had the water hose hooked up the engine didnt seem to be pulling water in, at least none came out. How long does it take? As I remember from 15 years ago or so it should only take 15-30 seconds max. Anyway seems like Im off to a good start just gotta make sure she gets some water.
