1980 Mercruiser-Milky oil in the upper outdrive.

Hi,
I took off my upper and lower out drive yesterday and saw a lot of milky oil pour out from the upper drive from where the U joints are. I'm assuming there is not suppose to be oil there.
Questions:
Where are the seals that Keep water out of outdrive oil and where is the seal that keeps oil out of the U joint areas.

Ayuh,... The oil seal is around the short yoke on the drive...
The bellows, gaskets, 'n o-rings keep the water outa the bellows...
