Hello all,

I just got a 1980 15' MFG.

The first 3 letters of the hull id on the registratoin card is DLZ. I thought it would be something like MFG.

I can not find the hull id in the usual places. I looked on the rear right, near the transom of the boat. Underneath the transom. Underneath the consoles and many other places.

Is there a special place that MFG put them?

All the other boats I've seen or owned had the hull ID on the rear right near the transom. Printed on either a metal plate or molded into the fiberglass.

Where else could it be?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

:)

Well it has 9 numbers after that with no other letters.

DLZ *** *** ***

* Being numbers not letters. It is the right length but it really doesn't tell anything about the manufacture date, or manufacture in general.

I thought the hull id would look like something like this. MFG123456A80

First 3 manufacture, next 3 to 6 the serial number and the last 3 being month and year manufactured. Guess MFG didn't go with the normal Hull ID.

Bubba, did it say it was definitely an MFG? I am stating what is on the registration card.

Thanks again,

:)
